Our Mission

Utopia Salon is a place where you can look and feel great! We specialize in customizing styles and services specifically for you and your lifestyle.

We offer a unique, diverse list of customized services. We employ a team of experienced, skilled professionals who offer all major hair services, body piercing, permanent make-up and microblading, massage, and body waxing. All employees continuously update their skills and education so they can offer the latest trends and techniques.

At our salon, we work to protect our environment by using the most natural products available. We welcome each guest to Utopia with a pleasant and courteous attitude. We strive to not only meet, but to exceed our guests’ expectations. We value clients who appreciate the job we do, and are respectful of us and other guests while visiting our salon. Tami - Master Stylist

Tami is a Master Stylist; she completed an Aveda-focused apprenticeship program and has been a licensed Cosmetologist for over 16 years. Tami has been with Utopia since the beginning. She continues her ongoing education/training with Aveda and Kevin Murphy, and has earned a Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatment certification.

Tami is an accomplished stylist specializing in cuts and color. She strives to give her guests an individualized experience by carefully listening to her guest’s desired results, and being honest about what she can achieve.

Jody - Master Stylist

Jody is a Master Stylist with over 20 years of experience; she has been with Utopia for about 10 years. Jody received her initial training in a Redken Apprenticeship program. She loves education, organizes all stylist training classes at Utopia, and never misses an opportunity to learn. Jody loves cuts, color, updos, and is our special occasion/bridal hair specialist.

Emily - Senior Stylist

Emily is a Senior Stylist with over 8 years of experience; she’s worked at Utopia for over 4 years. She attended Graham Webb Academy, and also completed extensive Aveda and Kevin Murphy training/education. Emily loves precision cuts, blonding, and learning the newest trends and techniques; she also offers all waxing services.

Marion - Master Stylist

Marion is a Master Stylist with over 40 years of experience and ongoing education. She’s a licensed Cosmetologist as well as certified in Barbering. She’s worked at Utopia for about 3 years. Marion absolutely loves hair and has attended too many training classes to list.

She describes herself as an “old school stylist”. She cuts hair to suit your face shape, accentuate your best features, and also takes your lifestyle into maintenance considerations. Marion takes the time to thoroughly consult with her guests as well as trains them to style and maintain their new look.

Maggie - Master Stylist

Maggie is a Master Stylist with over 16 years of experience. She completed her initial training in Pasadena, CA. Maggie has also received training and certifications in teacher training, district trainer, Vidal Sassoon training, as well as ongoing education in new color techniques, products, and of course Aveda, Kevin Murphy, and Keratin Complex Smoothing Treatments.

Traci - Master Stylist

Traci is a master stylist who has over 30 years of experience. Traci graduated from Martinsburg Cosmetology School and has been practicing her whole life, she grew up in a salon. Traci has a passion for what she does and ensures she stays up on the latest techniques, she has attended many advanced training events throughout the US and Canada. Traci is personable and goes above and beyond for her clients, providing excellent customer service. Traci specializes in haircuts and colors. She loves and enjoys everything about the hair industry and we are excited to have her here at Utopia, she is a huge asset.
