Tattoo Removal

Tattoos and permanent make-up are comprised of inert, insoluble pigments buried in the inner layer of the skin. Surgical removal or laser treatment is expensive, painful, and may have undesirable side effects, such as incomplete color removal, scarring, and skin depigmentation. Micropigmentation procedures offer several alternatives. One such alternative, Rejuvi Extraction technique utilizes several inorganic oxides to combine with the tattoo pigments located deep in the skin. Rejuvi Tattoo Remover is specially formulated not to remain in the skin so that the skin repels or ejects the mixture to the skin surface. The Rejuvi Cream and color pigments will form a protective scab or crust, which will detach naturally peeling off from the skin. This extraction technique can be used for removal of tattooed eyebrows, lip liners, or body tattoos.

Rejuvi utilizes a tattoo-over process. The crust formed with this process must be kept completely dry for seventy-two hours. After this initial period, the scab must not get too wet or soaked until it naturally falls off, usually 14-25 days. The treated skin will gradually heal and return to normal condition. The number of required treatments for removal will vary depending on the tattoo age, depth, and size. The average number of required treatments is 3-7 sessions.

The advantages of this technique are: 1. non-color selective. 2. simple, effective, and less scarring. 3. quick; usually takes less than an hour per session. 4. less expensive than laser methods. 5. much less pain or discomfort compared with laser methods.
